I read the FAQ and none of it answered my question. I bought a FX-9750G and it had an order form for a FA-123 Link cable.
So I filled it out. Should I send it in to order it? It says it is a PC Link Cable FA-123. Will it work with my 9750G? Another question. I downloaded the software from casio's education site, the FA-123 software.
Maintaining updated Casio FA-123USB software prevents crashes and maximizes hardware and system performance. Using outdated or corrupt Casio FA-123USB drivers can cause system errors, crashes, and cause your computer or hardware to fail. Furthermore, installing the wrong Casio drivers can make these problems even worse. Casio Craftsman Dell Epson Fujitsu HP KitchenAid LG Panasonic Philips Samsung Sharp other →.
I looked around in the program and it seems that the 9750G isn't listed. Will that software work with my calculator and cable? I would make a cable but I am way too busy and on top of that I am not confident in my electronic skills. I don't think anyone is understanding my question. I was wondering if the order form that came with the calculator is real or not. I don't need to know how to build one.
I looked online and no one sells it anywhere but I got an order form with my calculator for the FA123 cable. I sent for it. But is it even going to come or is outdated? It could also be brandnew since I just bought the calculator like 2 weeks ago. It was only 29.99 which by my calculations is only around 5 dollars more then building one.
I would need soder and a sodering gun. And on top of that i can't seem to find a MAX232 board anywhere. It would almost cost more to build one.
